Strangely, some of Saturn's Moons are Disk Shaped

Saturn's rings orbit the planet in a flat disk that corresponds to the planet's equator. Likewise, Earth and the other planets orbit the sun in a fairly flat plane that relates to the sun's equator. The planets, at least the rocky ones, are thought to have formed when bits of material orbiting the newborn sun stuck together, forming larger and larger objects that collided and coalesced.

Observations by NASA's Cassini spacecraft revealed the Saturnian moons Atlas and Pan, each roughly 12 miles from pole to pole, have massive ridges bulging from their equators some 3.7 to 6.5 miles high, giving them the flying-saucer appearance.

In principle, fast rates of spin might have stretched Atlas and Pan out into such unusual shapes, just as tossing a disk of pizza d ough flattens it out. But neither moon whirls very quickly, each taking about 14 hours to complete a rotation. Earth, far bigger, rotates in 24 hours, of course.

Lifestyle Enhancement from Rodeo Drive

I feel like a celebrity. I had thought long and hard about ways to improve my life in a permanent fashion. Self-esteem was one of the issues that topped my list of things I needed to work on. I know that how I feel about me has to come from within, but my physical appearance would bring me down every time I looked in the mirror. I tried different hairstyles and clothing, but it they fell short of the dramatic change I was seeking. I needed some plastic surgery; that was the only way to gain the permanent lifestyle enhancement that would literally change my life. I started looking at all the options; there were many but I figured “why not go with the best”? I found out the best is a celebrity plastic surgery center located on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The surgery center features state-of-the-art operating rooms and private recovery suites. The stone, bamboo, marble, glass, steel and fine art décor made me feel special and pampered. I was being treated by a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon accredited by AAAHC and Medicare, with the latest equipment and superior staff. They provided the ultimate safety and comfort. I had a procedure done involving liposuction, a dangerous procedure in the wrong hands, but these professionals are the best when it comes to California liposuction. I never felt that my health was at risk, not for one second. I am so pleased with the results; I am recommending that anyone considering plastic surgery first visit http://www.rodeodriveplasticsurgery.com/yourprivacy.html before making a final decision. When it comes to your health, your appearance and your self-esteem, put your faith in the hands of the professionals that have proven themselves not with just everyday people like me, but with the top celebrities in Hollywood as well.

Theory of Relativity

Relativity is either of two theories of physics developed by the German-born American physicist Albert Einstein. Those theories are (1) the special theory of relativity, which was published in 1905; and (2) the general theory of relativity, announced in 1915. Einstein’s theories explain the behavior of matter, energy, and even time and space. They are two of the “foundation blocks” upon which modern physics is built.
The theories of relativity describe events so strange that people find it difficult to understand how they could possibly occur. For example, one person can observe that two events happen at the same time, while another person observes that they occur at different times. A clock can appear to one observer to be running at a given rate, yet seem to another observer to run at a different rate. Two observers can measure the length of the same rod correctly but obtain different results. Matter can turn into energy, and energy can turn into matter.
